A Walk To Believe is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) recognized non-profit organization. It was founded in December 2010 to raise funds to aid in the recovery of Rutgers University football player Eric LeGrand after he sustained life-altering injuries during a play against Army in October 2010.
Since the time A Walk To Believe hosted its first fund raising walk at High Point.com Stadium on the Busch Campus of Rutgers University in May of 2011, it has expanded the scope of its mission based on the inspiration of Eric LeGrand to include creating awareness and providing assistance for those suffering from spinal cord injuries as well as to raise funds for charities researching cures. Since its inception, A Walk To Believe has donated more than $700,000 towards this cause. 2019 will be A Walk To Believe’s ninth annual family-friendly walk and 3rd 5K run. With your help, it promises to be the most successful one yet!
A Walk to Believe is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. The mission of A Walk to Believe is to create awareness and to raise funds for the people suffering from spinal cord injury. All proceeds from donations will be forwarded to organizations involved in the research and treatment of spinal cord injuries.
