From the beginning, A Walk To Believe has been an organization about family – about bringing people together, whether related or not, for a shared purpose and vision. Since our organization started in 2010, we have built our own community, our own family of believers, and we are continuously touched and humbled by just how far we’ve come without losing sight of how far we have to go.

We were very excited when Billy Luzzi, a high school senior in North Carolina, reached out to A Walk To Believe President Arlene Gonzalez to interview her about A Walk To Believe’s vision, mission, and involvement in spinal cord injury research.

On December 14, Billy and two of his classmates organized a fundraiser of their own, a cookout that raised around $500.00 for A Walk To Believe. We want to not only thank Billy and his team for an incredibly generous donation, but congratulate them on their success and hard work. We continue to be inspired by our supporters’ continued dedication not only to our organization, but to our mission of finding a cure for spinal cord injuries.

Thank you to Billy and his friends Kelly Barnhill and Copeland Spell! Congratulations on a job well done!

Welcome to the new A Walk To Believe website!

Hello, and welcome to the brand new online home for A Walk To Believe!

We’ll be building this website up tremendously as the walk, so far slated for June 2014, approaches. We’re hoping to make this the biggest and most successful walk yet! So far, with your help, we’ve raised nearly $50,000 for the Eric LeGrand Believe Fund and charities that support spinal cord injury research. As we approach our fourth walk, we are excited for the future – not only of this organization, but of the developments in medicine and technology that inspire us to believe every day.

News and updates will be posted as they are received. In the meantime, please share Eric’s story, our story, and our shared mission. Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and come here to stay in the loop about upcoming events and ways to help as we take steps towards a cure.
